POLICE INVESTIGATING SHOOTING IN CRAB HILL

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 05, 2017 (RSCNPF):  Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) and Officers of Police Division “B” are investigating a shooting incident in Crab Hill that has resulted in injuries to one person.

 

The shooting occurred about 10.54pm on  Wednesday (January 04).  

 

Investigations revealed that the victim is Carlyle Liddie of Crab Hill. He received gunshot injuries to the hip, shoulder and abdomen.   Liddie was treated at the Pogson Hospital and then transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital.

 

Anyone who may have seen the incident is asked to come forward and provide any information they may have to the Police.  You can do so by calling the Violent Crimes Unit at 465-2241, your community/neighbourhood Police Station or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS).

 

The investigation continues.
