Police Investigating  Attempted Rape In Parray Village

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 01, 2016 (SKNP):  


Early this morning a young woman from Monkey Hill, St. Peters is thanking God for sparing her life and that of her daughter after surviving a violent attack while asleep early this morning.  


According to a social media post,  “A very brave Rahsida Davis was awoken from her sleep when an unknown man broke into her bedroom and attempted to rape her. During the struggle that ensued on her bed, she was stabbed multiple times while fighting off the rapist who tried unsuccessfully to violate her, while her one year old daughter lay next to her. “


 

A Police press release,  disseminated late this morning indicates that Officers of the Stapleton’s Police Station are currently investigating a Burglary in Parray Village that resulted in injuries to a female. 


  

Further the release states that the incident occurred in the early morning on Tuesday (November 01) and that the victim was treated at the  Joseph N. France General Hospital and discharged.   


 

Police Investigations continue as Technicians from the Forensics Services Unit have already  canvassed the scene for evidence.
