Charlestown, Nevis, (SKN PULSE) – Citizens and residents alike were sent into shock as news quickly circulated throughout the island yesterday evening with regards to the sudden passing of Mr. Carl Williams.
Williams, the former educator and humble Permanent Secretary in the Nevis Island Administration’s Ministry of Tourism passed away last night, Sunday 26 March.
During his tenure as an educator he would have impacted the lives of students at the Prospect Primary School, the St. James Primary School, the St. John’s Primary School and the Gingerland Secondary School. The former teacher/principal was also a keen sports enthusiast who was always ready to coach his school’s football or cricket team. Before his untimely passing he served as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism.
Mr. Carl Williams was the husband of Junior Minister in the Nevis Island Administration, Hon. Hazel Brandy-Williams.
