Charlestown, Nevis (Friday, December 15, 2017) Leader of the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP), the Hon. Joseph Parry, launched his party’s manifesto for the Dec. 18 local elections in Craddock Road at the Mango Tree Bar last night, (Thursday 14th December) in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd. 


The manifesto entitled, “Building a Better Nevis for All” outlines the plans and policies that would prove “very popular” and “well needed”, the experienced economist said. 


It focuses on five pillars namely Tourism, The Financial Sector, Healthcare, The People of Nevis and Geothermal. According to Parry the NRP’s manifesto serves as an offer to transform the lives of many people in society while bringing change to Nevis.

    

The manifesto expounds on commitments to enhance Cruise Tourism to Charlestown, Decriminalizing Marijuana and the development of the Gingerland Public Market. 


Moreover, other commitments include the introduction of a Flight School at the Vance W. Airport in the parish of St. James, improvements to the healthcare sector, Rent -to -Own homes, removal of the $5,000 Environmental Levy, plans to reduce crime while enhancing education.
