The St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee is thrilled to announce that our esteemed senior winners of key National Carnival events have been invited to participate in Aquarian Consult’s Afri-Caribbean Summit, taking place in Abuja, Nigeria from March 23-28, 2026. This year’s theme, “One Voice, One Vision, Advancing Afri-Caribbean Unity,” underscores the commitment to foster collaboration and unity between Caribbean and African cultures.

We are particularly proud to have our Minister, Samal Duggins, serving as Co-Chair of this significant Summit. Minister Duggins has been a passionate advocate for the Afro-Caribbean Diaspora and has continuously worked to provide our creatives with opportunities to engage with and experience African culture.

“This summit represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these talented individuals to grow and develop their skills while immersing themselves in vibrant cultural exchanges,” says Minister Duggins.

The winners representing National Carnival at this event are:

– Gregory ‘Mention’ Hobson – Leader of Nu Vybes Band International, Road March Winner

– Tresjeur Dedier – Miss St. Kitts & Nevis

– Tariq Drew – Senior Calypso Monarch

– Toriano Samuel – Groovy Soca Monarch

– Brandon Cranstoun – Power Soca Monarch

We are immensely proud of our winners and confident that their participation in the Afri-Caribbean Summit will contribute to their growth and provide invaluable experiences that will enrich their artistic journeys. By engaging with industry leaders and peers from various sectors, our participants will have the chance to share ideas, explore collaboration opportunities, and foster lasting connections that will benefit both Caribbean and African nations.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our winners for earning this incredible opportunity and look forward to seeing the positive impact that their participation will bring to their personal careers and to St Kitts and Nevis.
