The 56th annual Jaycees International Queen show was held last night at Carnival City ARG, July 30, in St. Johns, Antigua. Miss Antigua & Barbuda, Ayanna Dorsette walked away with the top spot in this year’s Jaycees International Queen Show.
She was crowned after being announced the winner of the performing talent segment and best dressed in the evening wear.
Runners up were Miss St Lucia, Tyler Theophane, who placed 1 st Runner-up and Miss St Vincent & the Grenadines, Jimelle Thomas in the second runner-up position.
This year, 13 ladies from as far away as the United States as well as host country Antigua will vie for the title under the theme “Nature’s Beauties, A Celebration of the Environment.” The pageant’s goal is to create environmental awareness as well as solutions to climate change throughout the Caribbean.
The Results of the Miss Jaycees Caribbean International Queen show were as follows:
Miss JCI 2017 – Antigua & Barbuda US$5500 + Cruise, a Trip + gifts
1st Runner Up – St. Lucia US$3000 + Gifts
2nd Runner Up – Miss SVG US$1500 + gifts
Best Swimwear – Miss St. Kitts
Best Talent – Miss Antigua & Barbuda
Evening Wear – Antigua & Barbuda.
Modeling Skills in Evening Wear – Miss Vincent & Grenadines
Best Interview – Miss Anguilla
Non judged segment
Miss Congeniality – Miss Trinidad & Tobago
Miss Photogenic – Miss St. Lucia
