Lennox Nathaniel Greaves of Molineaux, St. Kitts, has been sentenced for the offence of Causing Death by Careless Driving, in relation to an incident that occurred on December 20th, 2024, which resulted in the death of Dr Simoneth Williams of St. Peter’s, St. Kitts.
Mr Greaves had previously pleaded guilty on March 6th, 2026. On May 27th, 2026, the High Court of St. Kitts and Nevis, presided over by His Lordship Justice Patrick Thompson Jr., delivered the following sentence:
The payment of a sum one hundred thousand dollars (XCD $100,000) in compensation to the family of the deceased
The revocation of his driver’s licence until January 1st, 2027
A suspended prison sentence of twelve (12) months. Should Mr Greaves reoffend during this period, he will face a custodial sentence of six months at His Majesty’s Prison.
