SKN PULSE – St. Kitts and Nevis Ambassador with responsibility for United States, Dr. Thelma Phillip Browne paid a courtesy call on YLAI Fellows of St. Kitts and Nevis currently in Washington D.C. for the closing ceremony of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative.
The fellows were greeted by Ambassador Browne at their Hotel in Arlington. They conversed and the fellows relayed their experiences throughout the program.
Ms. Henry was hosted in Raleigh, North Carolina by two Domestic Violence organizations in Chapel Hill North Carolina, while Mr. Chapman was hosted at Imagine Media Consulting located in Atlanta Georgia. Both gave positive reviews from the program as it has enhanced their outlook with regards to their respective initiatives.
Dr. Browne used the opportunity to express to the fellows best wishes and implore on them to be advocates for ensuring other local Business and Social Entrepreneurs take advantage of opportunities such as this one.
For the past five (5) weeks Ms. Henry and Mr. Chapman lived and worked in the United States while they garnered experience and best practices to implement In their respective fields. The fellows are on the last leg of their trip; the closing ceremony is scheduled for later today and the fellows will return home in short order.
