HAMILTON RESERVE BANK CSR PROGRAM FOCUSES ON YOUTH DEVELOPMENT THROUGH SPORTS AND EDUCATION

The Hamilton Reserve Bank Corporate Social Responsibility program, initially launched in St Lucia and Nevis, offers partial or full sponsorships for youth sports activities such as soccer teams, cricket teams, track, golf, and others.

The sponsorship covers travel expenses, uniforms, marketing, and branding costs. Additionally, exceptional student-athletes are offered internships or full-time career opportunities, earning well-paying salaries at the Bank or its affiliates worldwide.

The CSR Program is funded annually with USD 1 million and serves communities where the Bank has a marketing/branding presence. The Bank’s headquarters manages the CSR Program, with guidance from experienced CSR professionals.

The CSR program also collaborates with the U.S. State Department and U.S. embassies worldwide, as well as other established NGOs, to support local social development. The

HRB’s recent CSR programs include the Bank’s full sponsorship of Saint Lucia’s first-ever participation in the world-renowned Penn Relays in Philadelphia, USA. The Bank’s support included flights, lodging, uniforms and shoes, food, and event fees–all–inclusive.

The successful event directly benefited student-athletes from Saint Lucia and put the country before a large global audience.
