Bertram ‘Cabbage’ Bartlette was dedicated to the sport of football. He played for a number of seasons with the Black Circles Team. After his playing days were over, his commitment to the sport led him to continue expressing his love for the game by becoming the coach of the Black Circles Team.
Trevor Chapman, a sports analyst and former sponsor of the Uprising Youths, (rivals of Black Circle) recalls the days when the Uprising Youths and Black Circles dominated Football in Nevis during the 1980’s and 1990’s.
