Five Schools Benefit From Coach Greene’s Back To School Drive

Students at various schools on Nevis benefitted from the inaugural Coach Shirvon Greene Back to School Drive. An initiative that provided schools with basic school necessities and gifted underprivileged students with supplies.

Some of the supplies that were distributed included: School bags, pens, pencils, rulers, hand sanitizers, printing paper and envelopes.

The five schools that benefitted were: Charlestown Primary School, Vern N Llew Pre-School, St. James Primary School, Ivor Walters Primary School and St. Thomas’ Primary School. Select Students from the four of the schools received school bags and supplies. Five students that attend the Gingerland Secondary School were also beneficiaries of school supplies.

Principals at the schools were happy for the contributions and the students were very thankful for the school bags and supplies. Atleast two of the schools provided Mr. Greene with a personal video to express their thanks and appreciation.

In a viral post, Greene extended thanks to Carissa David, Tito Chapman and their respective support personnel for ensuring a smooth distribution process.

Greene indicated that he is thinking of other ways to contribute to the communities here on Nevis.
