A magnitude 4.1 earthquake was recorded near St. Litts and Nevis and two islands in the Eastern Caribbean earlier this afternoon.
The earthquake occurred around 4:29pm at a depth of 10 kilometres.
According to the Automatic Earthquake Location from the UWI Seismic Research Centre, the quake struck:
- 57 km East of Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda
- 96 km North North East of Point-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe
- 157 km East of Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis
