BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter Scale rattled the Federation mid morning today, Sunday 24th December, 2017.
The shaking started at about 11:12 (am).
The unusual shaking was felt by many as they buzzed about the occurrence on social media.
As per information disseminated by the UWI Seismic Research Centre, the earthquake was felt in St. Kitts and Nevis, Guadeloupe and Antigua and Barbuda.
