Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 26, 2018 – A report that a badly decomposed body of a male was found in the hills overlooking West Farm has been confirmed by police.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Terrence James said the discovery was made Thursday morning in the area of Ottley’s Level, just north of the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in West Farm.
ACP James said a person hiking in the hills informed police around of the discovery around mid-day.
He said the body may have been there for a few weeks as it was mostly decomposed and it was too early to determine the specific cause of death.
Foul play has not been ruled out.
