Top Nevis Education officials held an unscheduled meeting with top officials of the Charlestown Primary School to discuss health concerns and the way forward after students and teachers have been falling sick.
The meeting came as a result of complaints and continued cases of teachers and students falling ill regularly.
After closing one of the Grade Five Classes, the Grade One Class and the computer lab due to concerns of Mold, Bat and Rat droppings, the situation has worsened.
The entire infant block that consists of Kindergarten, Grade two and Grade One has been closed down for the day.
According to an anonymous source, respiratory difficulties top the list of symptoms that occur whenever they enter certain rooms at the shool.
Classes have been relocated to the Library, the Staff room and the Cafeteria.
