CHESLYN HUTTON SENTENCED FOR UNLAWFUL CARNAL KNOWLEDGE

Cheslyn Hutton of Cotton Ground, Nevis, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for
the offences of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge and Procuring Drugs to Perform a
Miscarriage. Mr Hutton was previously charged on May 3rd, 2025, with six (6) counts of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge and one (1) count of Procuring Drugs to Perform a
Miscarriage.

On February 27th, 2026, at the Nevis Circuit Court, presided over by His Lordship Justice
Iain Morley K.C., Mr Hutton pleaded guilty to:

 Counts 4, 5, and 6 of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, for which he was sentenced to
eight (8) years’ imprisonment;

 Count 7 of Procuring Drugs to Perform a Miscarriage, for which he was sentenced to
one (1) year imprisonment, to run consecutively.
