Basseterre, St. Kitts, (SKN PULSE ) – A Sandy Point woman is dead after a fire engulfed her home in Farm Site early Tuesday evening.
Reports indicate that area residents realised a wooden structure was on fire sometime after 7pm and called the Fire and Rescue Services.
The Sandy Point Fire Services Unit responded to the call and were able to rescue a male occupant who was identified as Vance Browne.
Unfortunately, the deceased who was identified as Hyacinth Williams wasn’t as fortunate.
The Fire and Rescue Services are currently investigating the circumstances that caused the fire.
