SKN PULSE – St.Kitts and Nevis former skipper, Atiba Harris has accepted a new challenge as he ply his skills in the Mexican League.
The Kittitian Soccer legend who has sent most of his career in the MLS signed with Mexican Club Murcielagos FC. Such a signing came one week after becoming a MLS free agent.
The Murcielagos FC team is currently at the bottom in the Mexican 2nd division’s relegation table. Hence, they are at the risk of being sent to the 3rd division.
Atiba’s transition will have to be smooth if his new team is expected to be saved from relegation to the Ascenso MX 3rd Division.
In a comment on social media, Atiba Harris tweeted “After 12 years in MLS and living in both the US and Canada, it was time for a new challenge and an opportunity for my family and I. Mexico is a place that’s very close to my heart because of family ties so I’m looking forward to this new challenge and I hope to help my new club achieve its goals”.
