Charlestown, Nevis – The Nevis Cricket Association has named a 14 member squad to represent Nevis in the Leeward Islands Cricket board (LICB) one day competiton to be held in Antigua.
Young all-rounder Adelvin Phillip has been selected as captain. The team comprises of a blend of youth and experience. Kian Pemberton, a promising young fast bowler has been included in the squad.
The team will be managed by Errol Somersall and coached by Bernette Thompson.
The full squad reads: Adelvin Phillip (c), Jason Campbell (vc), Justin Athanaze, Nelson Boland, Theron Bussue, Jamie Cornelius, Wasim Mintos, Kian Pemberton, Ross Powell, Kejel Tyson, Duan Webbe, Saheed Williams, Akito Willett and Tonito Willett.
Teams are set to arrive in Antigua on Thursday 11 of May.
The Leeward Islands one day competiton is set to take place from the 12 to the 19 of May in Antigua.
Participating teams are Anguilla, host – Antigua and Barbuda, Montserrat, Nevis, Combined Islands, St. Maarten and St. Kitts.
