Antigua and Barbuda Closes Border With China

The government of Antigua and Barbuda has taken the decision to close its borders to travellers from the People’s Republic of China.

This move comes on the heels of the novel coronavirus, which was first identified in China, being declared a global emergency by the World Health Organization, WHO.

The fast-spreading novel coronavirus has infected more than 8,200 people across the world. 170 persons have died as a result of the virus.
