Back To Back LIDC Titles – Antigua and Barbuda has retained its title in the 54th Leeward Islands Debating Competition which concluded in Nevis Sunday evening.
Antigua and Barbuda’s Leanna Browne and Janica Adams successfully opposed the moot: Caribbean governments should provide free tertiary education to citizens up to the undergraduate level.
Antigua and Barbuda amassed 694 points to hosts’ 639.
Janica Adams copped the accolade for Best Speaker.
The 54th Leeward Islands Debating Competition was held at the Nevis Performing Arts Centre, Nevis, from March 15 to March 15.
