A total of 155 Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) students returned to St. Kitts and Nevis on October 14 and are now in compulsory quarantine.
Dr. Hazel Laws, Chief Medical Officer, during the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) Press Briefing on October 14 revealed that four flights landed, one from Miami, (135) and three from Rico, (20 persons).
The students were tested upon arrival and are presently in quarantine. According to Dr. Laws, the students were tested within the 72 hours before boarding their flights; their results were negative.
The student samples were taken at the Ross Campus. The students will be tested again on day 14 and once their PCR test is negative, then they will be free to integrate into society according to Dr Laws.
