Two Nevisians, Two Kittitians named in Leeward Islands Hurricances Squad

The Leeward Islands Hurricanes named their 13-member squad for the upcoming WICB Professional Cricket League Regional 4 Day Tournament.

Two Nevisians and two Kittitians have been included in the squad as they prepare for their first match against the West Indies Academy.

The local players are: Shelton Forbes, Colin Archibald, Jeremiah Louis and Cameron Pennyfeather.

Forbes will be making his debut while Archibald will be looking to impress selectors  after regaining a spot in the team. 

Pennyfeather will be playing for the Leeward Islands for the first time. He previously debuted for Combined Campuses and Colleges in 2017. Louis is no stranger to the Leeward Islands Hurricanes lineup. He has been one of the top bowlers for the Leewards in the past few seasons. Just last year, he was named in the West Indies Test Squad to tour England. 

The team will be led by Antiguan Rahkeem Cornwall.

The Leewards will compete against the West Indies Academy team on Wednesday, January 29th.
