SKN PULSE – St. Kitts and Nevis’ Reigning National Carnival Swimsuit Queen, Shakira Pitt captured the 2017 Miss Venus Model Caribbean crown last night, (Saturday 15th July) at the Rick Great House in Anguilla.
Pitt along with four other young ladies from St. Martin, Anguilla, Nevis and the Dominican Republic vied for the coveted title.
However, at the end of the night, St. Kitts was crowned Queen for the second consecutive year. Miss St. Martin placed first runner up while Nevis’, Jahnel Nisbett placed second runner up.
The annual event which seeks to promote cultural diversity was first staged in 2003. Last year’s staging of the event was won Ms. Alsanarda Hanley of St. Kitts.
