Basseterre, St. Kitts — November 2, 2025 — The St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) expresses deep regret over the unfortunate incident that occurred during the President’s Cup match between S.L. Horsfords St. Paul’s United FC and Rams Village Superstars FC, which led to the premature end of the fixture at halftime.
The SKNFA strongly condemns all forms of violence and misconduct in football. The altercation that unfolded is wholly unacceptable and stands in direct contradiction to the values of respect, discipline, and fair play that the Association promotes and upholds at every level of the game.
An immediate investigation into the incident has been launched. All players, officials, and other participants involved in the brawl will be subjected to the appropriate disciplinary process in accordance with SKNFA and FIFA regulations. The Association remains firm in its zero-tolerance policy toward violence both on and off the pitch.
The SKNFA also wishes to sincerely apologize to the fans and supporters who attended the match and had their football experience cut short. The safety and enjoyment of our fans remain our top priority, and we recognize the disappointment caused by this unfortunate disruption. The Association will take steps to make amends for the inconvenience and ensure that future matches provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
