#SportsUpdate – Shamarie Roberts 🏃🏿♂️🇰🇳
Shamarie Roberts opened his 2025 season with a personal best at the Corky Classic, which was held at the Texas Tech Sports Performance Center from January 17th-18th.
Roberts a member of the Thunderbirds, (New Mexico Junior College), Men’s Track and Field team, ran a PB of 6.80 seconds, securing a 5th place finish in Heat 10 and a 25th place overall finish. Roberts has qualified for the NJCCA Indoor Championships to be held later this year.
Roberts also competed in the 200m event. He stopped the clock at 2️⃣1️⃣.8️⃣5️⃣. His time earned him an 18th overall finish.
