Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 5, 2016 (RSCNPF): The seizure of an .9mm air pistol and the recovery of a motorcycle previously reported as stolen were the results of the execution of a search warrant by members of the Frigate Bay Police Station and the Special Services Unit (SSU) early Saturday morning (November 5) on a property in Conaree.

Police Inspector Phillip Eddy, of the Frigate Bay Police Station said, “our operation this morning was a success, we recovered a motorcycle previously reported as stolen and even more significant, albeit an air pistol, we removed an instrument that can be used in crime from the community.” He added, “if you were to be approached with it, it will bring the same degree of fear.”

The search was conducted on suspicion that illegal firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs or instruments that can be used to support or be used in criminal activity was on the premises.
Two persons are in custody.
