“The aim is clear, to elevate the overall quality of local education and to assist students with their academic pursuit. This project provides concrete support in two main ways. Firstly, it delivers scholarships directly to the students and secondly, it supplies extra resources and learning and teaching resources to foster a more encouraging environment for both the students and the dedicated faculty. With our strong partnership with the Ministry of Education, I promise you that Taiwan and my embassy will continue to support more students, teachers and schools in the Federation for many years to come.”

Mrs. Lisa-Roymane Pistana, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education expressed gratitude on behalf of the Minister of Education and by extension the government and people of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis for the unwavering support that Taiwan has been offering through the Human Resource Development Project.

Reflecting on the benefits of the scholarship, Permanent Secretary Pistana, conveyed

“The Taiwanese Monetary Scholarship Program is more than just financial assistance. It is an investment in the human capital, in dreams, and in the future of our Federation. Each scholarship awarded today represents a bridge between our nations, strengthens bi-lateral ties and fosters cultural exchange. It empowers our students to pursue academic excellence in an environment that values innovation, discipline, and global citizenship.”
