The man agreed to pay her $7,500 per month to rent an apartment and $45,000 for a two-storey commercial space. He said the man kept assuring the rent money was being wire transferred to the assigned bank account.
Bhola told the Express the man also said his company was able to build a 50-foot-wide steel gate in front the commercial building and was given money by his client to erect the gate. This, the attorney said, was yet to be done. He said at present furniture in the apartment was destroyed by the man or those he allowed access to the apartment. The man was last contacted via telephone two weeks ago. The victim made a report to a senior police officer at the San Fernando Criminal Investigation Department.
