Two Leeward Island Hurricane players have been named in the 15-man squad to attend a Cricket West Indies (CWI) Emerging Players training camp aimed at enhancing their skills in the white-ball formats. Jeremiah Louis of St. Kitts and Keacy Carty of St. Maarten, (plays for Anguilla) will join their regional counterparts in Antigua from May 27th.
Carty is one of four Members from the 2016 West Indies U19 Championship team named in the squad. The Leeward Islands Hurricanes batsman was the Player of the Match in the U-19 World Cup final. Carty has a batting average of 27.54 from 27 matches.
Louis, throughout his first class career has baggged 79 wickets from 36 matches and has a batting average of 20.93.
The camp is scheduled to take place from May 27 to June 13 at the West Indies High Performance Centre (WIHPC), Coolidge Cricket Ground.

The three other U-19 World Cup winners taking part are Trinidad and Tobago Red Force pacer Odean Smith, Barbados Pride duo fast bowler Chemar Holder and all-rounder Shamar Springer.
