The Leeward Islands defeated arch rivals Windward Islands by four wickets at Coolidge Cricket Ground today.
Set a victory target of 294, the Leeward Islands Hurricanes were off to a great start from Powell and Hodge who featured in yet another 100 plus partnership.
Devon Smith and Ambris were the top scorers for the Windward Islands team with Smith getting 101 and Ambris with 53.
Earlier, Winward Islands opting to bat first were 293 off 50 overs with former significant contributions from veteran players Fletcher, Smith and Ambris.
Kieran Powell scored 80, while Rahkeem Cornwall, the man of the match chipped in with 74 not out to lead the Hurricanes to victory.
Leeward Islands will play Trinidad on Sunday.
Both teams would be looking for a win going into the semi-finals and to top the Zone.
