Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 19th 2018 – The Federation’s charismatic leader, the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas Wednesday continued his long established tradition of welcoming the Federation’s independence baby.

Dr. Douglas, Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition welcomed Anais Perez, some five hours after a baby girl was born at 5:07 am to George and Alisha Perez at St. Kitts’ J.N. France General Hospital. Anais weighed in at 8lbs10ozs.

Dr. Douglas, who was accompanied by the Labour Party’s Deputy Political Leader and Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher 2 (Central Basseterre), the Hon. Marcella Liburd and the Hon. Konris Maynard, Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher 3 (West Basseterre), congratulated the proud parents.

Both baby and proud mother are doing well.
