Jamaican reggae singer Koffee has been named as one of the first wave of artiste to be announced for the 2020 St. Kitts Music FestivalFestival which runs from the 24th to the 28th of June.
Artiste Selection Chairman, Ambassador Jonel Powell made the announcement earlier this morning at an official press conference at the Ocean Terrance Inn.
With hits such as Toast, Rapture and Throne, Koffee’s selection was approved by many via social media.
The announcement was met with calls for a Chronixx announcement at the Cooler Fete later this month. Fans have opined that only a Koffee and Chronixx combination can break Buju’s record from last year.
Koffee’s EP Rapture has recently been nominated for Best Reggae Album making her the youngest solo artiste to earn a Grammy nomination in the Reggae category.
Her latest track is entitled W, a collab with Gunna.
Koffee will also be appearing alongside Harry Styles in Mexico during 2020 and is also slated to perform in Antigua at the One Nation Concert which will be held in January.
Other artistes that were announced included veteran reggae artiste, Jimmy Cliff and Nigerian singer and song writer Wizkid.
