Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 10, 2018 (RSCNPF): Officers from the Nevis Division, the Special Services Unit (SSU), and the Regional Security Service (RSS), along with Soldiers from the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) conducted several operations throughout Nevis on Sunday, December 09.
During one of the operations, a .38 revolver with several rounds of ammunition was found on the premises of a home in the Rawlins area. The items, along with four individuals from the home, were taken into Police custody.
The Police, with the support of the SKNDF and, more recently, the RSS have been working day and night to rid communities around the Federation of firearms. To date, some thirty-seven firearms have been taken into Police custody for the year so far.
