Lishane Mattis and Kekona Charles of the Ivor Walters Primary School, were crowned Mr. and Ms Talented Youth 2019 last night Monday, July 29 at the Nevis Cultural Complex.
Sponsored by LEFCO, Mattis and Charles came up against 8 participants from 4 other schools.
The Ivor Walters Primary school amassed 621 points from three judged segments to win by 27 points. They captured two of the three segments: Celebrating Our Winners, (Speech) and Celebrating Our African Heritage, (Evening Wear).
Zaquon Challenger and J’nyah Matthew of the St. Thomas’ Primary and Shamar Ottley and Tianna Griffin of the Joycelyn Liburd Primary Schools tied for 1st runner up. Both schools amassed 594 points.

1ST RUNNER UP: ST. THOMAS’ PRIMARY SCHOOL & JOYCELYN LIBURB PRIMARY SCHOOL – 594 POINTS
