Gun violence spirals out of control; police investigating shooting in Taylor’s Village

SKN PULSE – “We are losing Mothers, We are losing Fathers” – Stop the violence for our country’s sake. 

Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit are currently  investigating a shooting incident that was reported at 9.45pm, on Saturday (June 03) in Taylor’s Village. 

Two males were shot; one sustaining injuries and the other shot dead on the scene.

 

Reports indicate that the injured victim is a male resident of Taylor’s Village and the deceased is identified as a male resident of Lower West Bourne St.

  

According to the the police press release, investigations revealed that victims were shot by an unknown assailant(s) while entering the yard of the injured victim. The injured victim was taken to the Joseph N. France General Hospital by the EMS. 

The deceased was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The release further states that “the Police encourages any person who may have information with regards to this incident to come forward and share any information they may have. Information can be passed to the Police by calling the Basseterre Police Station at 465-4421, or any Police Station, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS) or by using the SKN Crime Reporter App on your Smartphone”.
