Former West Indies Captain Richie Richardson endorses Virgil Browne – NRP’s candidate in St. James Parish

SKN PULSE – New candidate for the Nevis Reformation Party, Mr. Virgil Browne has been gettting ringing endorsements from former colleagues and current/past West Indies players. 

Contesting in constituency #4 – St. James Parish, Browne has received endorsements from, former West Indies Captains: Richie Richardson, Christopher Gayle, Darren Sammy and former Vice-Captain – Denesh Ramdin as well as the great Sir. Curtley Ambrose. 

Like Gayle, Sammy and Ramdin before, Richardson encouraged Nevisians to Surge with Virge. 

According to Richardson, he was very excited when he learnt of Virgil’s involvement in Politics. He said, “I am excited because the person that I have grown to know over the past few years having worked with you, having played music with you and having done many positive things with you, I am confident that you will continue to excel and do very well”. 

Richardson and former West Indies fast bowler, Curtley Ambrose recorded one video with their messages. 

Ambrose had this message for the people of St. James, ” throw all your weight behind the man in new man in town, I am talking about Virgil Browne – he has got the qualities to represent you”. Additionally, he emphasized, “people of St. James…don’t let your self down, vote for Virgil Browne”. 

Local elections on Nevis will be on Monday 18th December. Browne’s vision for St. James is a multifaceted approach which includes modernising the pottery, bringing a flight school to Nevis, enhancing sports development on Nevis, building Daycare for seniors among others.
