Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 10, 2023 (RSCNPF): Several firearms and bulletproof vests were taken into Police custody following search operations conducted in two separate areas.
During a search operation in the Needsmust Area on March 08, 2023, two (2) Smith & Wesson .38 Revolvers, one (1) Brownie Semi-Automatic Pistol and one (1) 12-Gauge Shot Gun were found. They were taken into Police custody.
Also, three (3) Bulletproof vests were discovered and taken into custody by the Police on March 07, 2023, following a search that was conducted on a premises in Greenlands.
Investigations into these matters are ongoing.
