BASETERRE, ST. KITTS– Less than a week into the New Year, the cost of living in St. Kitts and Nevis is going up.
Digicel in St. Kitts and Nevis has announced it will increase the rates for its post paid mobile and data services.
While only stating the increase will be “small” and not providing the exact percentage, Digicel announced the new rates will become effective on January 16th 2017 and “some of our post-paid plans will incur a small increase to reflect our increased costs.”
Digicel added the change will be reflected in the February bill.
“Over the years, we have made significant investment in our mobile networks to deliver improved coverage, data speeds and call equality. These increases are now necessary to offset the increased costs we continue to incur and importantly to allow for further investment in providing an overall great experience for all our customers,” a message posted to Digicel clients said.
