The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in St. Kitts and Nevis has declined, as two additional persons have recovered from the virus. This brings the total number of recoveries to 8.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Hazel Laws on Friday (May 1) confirmed the recovery of two individuals at the NEOC daily briefing.
To date, 294 persons have been sampled. Of that amount, there were 15 positive results and 273 negative results. There are 6 results pending.
Dr. Laws also revealed that 56 persons are quarantined in a government facility while 55 persons are quarantined at home.
Seven persons remain isolated.
To date, there has been no deaths associated with COVID-19.
