(EMU) – St. Kitts, November, 15, 2017: The Ministries of Education and Agriculture teamed up with The St. Kitts & Nevis National Co-operative League Ltd., to host a Primary School Quiz which culminated last Thursday 9th, November.
After an arduous four-round competition, the top prize was given to the J. O. Williams Primary. Rondell Williams of the school was also adjudged best student. The Beach Allen Primary placed second and Cayon Primary was pronounced as the third place winners.
The St. Kitts & Nevis National Co-operative League Ltd, Department of Co-Operatives Primary School Quiz competition brought some of the Federation’s talented and brilliant minds on one platform. The schools that were competing for bragging rights were, Beach Allen Primary, Cayon Primary, Dr. William Connor Primary, J. O. Williams Primary, Newton Ground Primary and the Sandy Point Primary School.
The National Co-operative League is the representative body of all the Credit Unions and other Co-operatives within the Federation. It was established in the early 1980s to coordinate, develop and provide advocacy and representation for the credit union and cooperative sectors.
