Jamiacan Alia Atkinson won her second medal at the World Swimming Championships in China on Friday when she finished third in the 100m medley.
The bronze medal follows on her gold medal performance in the 50m breaststroke on Wednesday.
Atkinson clocked 58.11 seconds in the race won by the imperious Katinka Hosszu of Hungary in 57.26s while Japan’s Runa Imai won the silver in 57.85s.
Having already won two medals, the Jamaican Swimmer will be attempting to win a third medal and perhaps a second gold when she swims in the 100m breaststroke, an event in which she holds the world record.
The finals are set for for later today.
