Seven young cricketers departed Nevis on Wednesday, March 18, for Antigua to participate in the Leeward Islands Under-15 training camp.
The players selected are Karese Farrell, Nicholas Hero, Aedan Williams, De’Morae Prentice, Deshawn James, Kamari France and Ryan Marchand. They will join their regional counterparts as they vie for selection to the final 14-member Leeward Islands Under-15 squad.
The camp will bring together talented young cricketers from across the Leeward Islands, providing an opportunity for the players to showcase their skills.
The players will first participate in a training camp in Antigua and Barbuda, where the final team will be selected.
Those chosen will then travel to Jamaica for the Cricket West Indies Under-15 tournament.
The Leeward Islands Under-15 team will be coached by St. Kitts and Nevis’ own Jacques Taylor.
