St Kitts to Host West Indies Women vs Australia ODI Series; Jahzara Claxton Could Make Historic Home Appearance

Basseterre, St. Kitts — Cricket West Indies (CWI) has officially confirmed that St Kitts will host three One Day Internationals between the West Indies Women and Australia Women at Warner Park in March and April 2026, marking a major moment for cricket in the Federation.

The matches, scheduled for Friday, March 27; Sunday, March 29; and Thursday, April 2, will bring the world-ranked Australian Women’s team to St Kitts as part of a six-match white-ball series that also includes three T20 Internationals in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

This series presents a proud and potentially historic opportunity for St Kitts’ Jahzara Claxton could represent the West Indies Women on home soil. Claxton, a product of the Federation’s cricket development pathway, has emerged as one of the region’s promising young players, and her selection would allow local fans to witness a daughter of the soil competing at the highest international level at Warner Park.

The presence of the West Indies Women and Australia Women underscores St Kitts’ continued importance as a host venue for international cricket and reflects Cricket West Indies’ confidence in the island’s facilities and passionate cricket supporters.
