The Leeward Islands Hurricanes franchise is content with their team selection for the 2018/2019 Cricket West Indies Professional Cricket League Season.
The draft which was held on May 23rd, saw the Leeward Islands selecting, Damion Jacobs*, Sheldon Cotterell*, Orlando Peters, Nelson Bolan and Jason Peters.
With Nelson Bolan being the lone Nevisian pick in the draft, he will join 5 SKN players in the squad.
Four Kittitians and two Nevisian players will be representing the Federation in the 2018/2019 Cricket West Indies PCL League. They are Jeremiah Louis, Terrance Warde, Akeem Saunders, Sheeno Berridge, Ross Powell and Nelson Bolan.
Tasked with his first duty as Chairman of Selectors, Stuart Williams is happy with the picks. According to an article posted on Cricket West Indies he stated, “the addition of the two fast bowlers and the younger players will create the balance needed for the team to improve in the standings”.

The Leeward Islands Hurricanes would be looking to dethrone defending Champions, Guyana Jaguars inorder to win the coveted title.
